Each year, the New York Type Director's Club hosts a portfolio based competition dedicated to type in all its forms . The objective of this project was to take a single assigned letter, and create a well rationalized graphic to act as the main expression for a poster promoting this event exhibition. Design Rationale
This is a representation of designers and their work. The focal point of this poster is the yellow triangle in the upper portion of the poster. This poster represents each artist and designer in their individuality. The eye is then carried to the block of red, which pulses away from the yellow triangle. This is a picture of the effects of design—the reactions and impressions each designers' work has on the society around them.
